There is also a pocket on the outside of the pack with space behind it for other items. On the top of the pack is a small pocket for personal items. Inside the top of the pack is a small map pocket. There are two straps on the bottom of the back to strap a compact sleeping bag. The interior has a water proof coating throughout. It has an excellent padded waist belt with small zipper pockets on the outside and very good shoulder straps.
